Holmer background information
In 1974, the work of Holmer began in the Bavarian city of Eggmbhl with the construction of the first 6-row and self-propelled beet harvesters. The owners did not even suspect then that this was the first step in the new age of production of equipment for harvesting. Today, more than 2,000 Holmer harvesters are working throughout Europe. About 220 employees operate in the enterprise. Successfully work subsidiaries in Poland, France, the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
Along with the beet harvesting combines, Terra-DOS has been building vehicles with the serial name Terra Variant for 10 years.
Both models - Terra Variant 500 and 600 - are now relevant. The base machine is equipped with a single -row six -cylinder engine DaimlerchrySler with a capacity of 490 hp. The Terra Variant 600 model is driven by the V-shaped DaimlerchrySler eight-cylinder engine with a capacity of 612 hp. A specially designed Holmer suspension of the front bridge with automatic level regulation guarantees convenience when moving. With steering, with four controlled wheels, the vehicle, in addition, is very maneuverable. A disaxial option is also possible. The tractor can be used (using various structural programs) for scattering dung slings (Zunhammer dung for dung slings), for transporting grain or root crops, like a universal sand scatter or salt and sowing (with Horsch-SFLTECHNIK). In addition to the main space for hinging tools and containers, behind the cab is a tilted three -point sequent device of category 4.
