Lombardini background information
Lombardini S.R.L. - The Italian engine production concern, founded in 1922. The headquarters of the company is located in the city of Rezho Emilia, Italy.
The initial stage of the formation of the company occurred in 1922 from the moment when the Italian Adelimo Lombardini released his first engine.
In 1933, Aadelo, together with the sons of Alberto and Raniero, decide to build their own plant production plant “Lombardini Fabrica Motori” in the vicinity of the industrial city of REGGIO EMILIA.
Having gained many years of experience, to date, Lombardini has become one of the world leaders in the field of creating and releasing diesel engines with a capacity of up to 47 kW.
Today, the concern’s products are about 36% of the European market share and 21% of the world market share.
For the entire period of its activities, the concern has released more than 5 million engines.
Today, the company owns five enterprises in Italy, Slovakia and India, on which it produces up to 210,000 engines per year.
Lombardini produces both gasoline and diesel engines, offers models with air or water cooling, one- or many cylinder. However, the company specializes in diesel engines, which have earned fame.
Since its foundation, Lombardini has made a bet on the development and implementation of the most modern technologies, so today the company in many areas of modern motor building is a recognized world leader.
Lombardini diesel engines are the highest reliability and durability, tested by decades of active operation, compliance with the most stringent environmental standards, compact dimensions with the optimal ratio of specific power, efficiency, as well as own unique developments that have no analogues.
