The first New Holland excavator was released in 1966.
The operational mass of the currently produced equipment is 8.3-87 tons, the power is 71-82 kW.
A distinctive feature of all New Holland excavators is an arrow of an enhanced box-sectional structure and a narrow bucket, which, due to the length of the arrow, can work at maximum depth.
New Holland excavators are equipped with a diesel engine with a turbocharger and intermediate heat exchanger.
Machines are controlled using levers. The gearbox of excavators-loaders is synchronized, with four speeds and with a serving of switching.
In the model range of New Holland excavators, there are cars with equal wheels and different-made wheels.
The dashboard is made in the style of a car. So, on the right side there is a ignition lock, functional buttons and sensors displaying information about the temperature of the oil and coolant, the battery level and the fuel level of the tank.
Excavators-loaders with a standard bucket (with a straight cutting edge without teeth) are equipped, which is used to overload gravel, sand and clay soils. Also, these buckets can be equipped with a replaceable double -sided cutting edge (continuous or segments), made of wear -resistant steel of high hardness. The jaw buckets increase the height of unloading by tens of centimeters and allow loaders to perform additional functions such as pushing and leveling the soil, backfill, layout, capture of bulk and piece cargo.
In addition, New Holland excavators can be equipped with grabs with graphic jaws and without, which are necessary for loading goods, forks and boom-lifting equipment.
This technique is intended for the implementation of earthwork, loading and processing of heterogeneous materials: various types of soils and rocks, coal ‚sand‚ crushed stone. In addition, New Holland excavators can fill out earthen embankments, shafts ‚work in bulldozer mode, laying the sites and excerpts of pits, transport goods in a bucket or in captures.
