One of Japan's earliest tractor manufacturers was founded in 1914 when SATOH began production of tractors.

Satoh and Mitsubishi Machinery merged in 1980 to form Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery.

The SATON MITSUBISHI brand of tractors was used from 1980 to 1984. However, the firm that manufactured them has been known as Mitsubishi since that year.

Satoh Agricultural Machinery, a distributor of David Brown's equipment, also produced their version of the name.

AWD compact utility tractor developed by Satoh in Japan between 1973 and 1983, the Bison S650G is a Satoh Bison model.

Satoh S650G

The Satoh Bison S650G has two engine sizes: 1.0 litres (60.2 cubic inches) and 1.2 litres (71.3 cubic inches). In addition to six forward and two backward gears, these engines feature an unsynchronized gear transmission with a dry disc clutch.

Open operator station with two-post ROPS, mechanical steering, differential mechanical internal expanding shoe brakes and a 36.0-litre fuel tank were some features of the Satoh Bison S650G (9.5 US gal; 7.9 Imp. gal).

The tractor might be equipped with one of the following engines:

• The Mazda PB100. Aspiration volume is 60.2 cubic inches and has a four-cylinder gasoline engine of 987 cubic centimetres. A piston stroke of 68.0 millimetres and a cylinder bore of 68.0 millimetres (2.68 inches) (2.68 inches). The rating is defined as 8.6:1, or the compression ratio. A power output of 25.3 PS (18.6 kW; 25.0 HP) was achieved by this engine at 2,800 revolutions per minute, while torque was generated at 46.9 Nm (4.8 kgm; 34.6 ftlb) at 2,200 revolutions per minute.
• Mazda TA and TB. Four-cylinder gasoline engine with 71.3 cubic inches of capacity and 1.2 litres of displacement (1,169 cm2). The piston's travel distance is 76.0 millimetres, and the cylinder bore diameter is 2.76 inches (70.0 mm) (2.99 in). The rating is defined as 8.6:1, or the compression ratio. At 2,800 rpm, this engine produced 27.3 PS (20.1 kW; 27.0 HP) and 46.9 Nm (4.8 kgm; 34.6 ftlb) of maximum torque.
