One of Japan's earliest tractor manufacturers was founded in 1914 when SATOH began production of tractors.
Satoh and Mitsubishi Machinery merged in 1980 to form Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery.
The SATON MITSUBISHI brand of tractors was used from 1980 to 1984. However, the firm that manufactured them has been known as Mitsubishi since that year.
Satoh Agricultural Machinery, a distributor of David Brown's equipment, also produced their version of the name.
AWD compact utility tractor developed by Satoh in Japan between 1973 and 1983, the Bison S650G is a Satoh Bison model.
The Satoh Bison S650G has two engine sizes: 1.0 litres (60.2 cubic inches) and 1.2 litres (71.3 cubic inches). In addition to six forward and two backward gears, these engines feature an unsynchronized gear transmission with a dry disc clutch.
Open operator station with two-post ROPS, mechanical steering, differential mechanical internal expanding shoe brakes and a 36.0-litre fuel tank were some features of the Satoh Bison S650G (9.5 US gal; 7.9 Imp. gal).
