Shibaura Tractors
The Shibaura brand occupies a special place among the universal medium-power tractors. The peculiarity is that all the main components of the tractors, including the engine and transmission, the company Shibaura produces independently. Therefore, the technique collected, on the one hand, is always characterized by increased reliability and unique “branded” technical solutions that expand its functionality and ease of use of it.
Shibaura Machine-Building company began its activities in the middle of the last century. She was a joint brainchild of two giants of the Japanese industry - Toshiba and IHI companies. Initially, it specialized in the production of diesel engines. Since the beginning of the sixties, the company began to produce universal tractors of medium power - up to forty horsepower. In the late seventies, it started the release of the most powerful tractor in the model line, the power of which was 50 horsepower.
Shibaura is part of the IHI Corporation - the leading engineering company in Japan that produces aviation equipment, jet engines, sea vessels, power plants and other engineering products. Its production is deployed in four factories. All of them are located in Japan. Therefore, Shibaura vibrators are “real Japanese”, in which all the details, even the smallest nut, are the height of technical perfection.
The company produces tractors of a wide power range - from 21 to 51 horsepower. All of them are equipped with four-stroke diesel engines with water cooling. These are all-wheel drive tractors with classical differentiation of the wheel size on the rear and front axis.
All tractors are equipped with automatic (hydrostatics) transmission. They have two power selection shafts. One is located classically - behind the second, depending on the model, front or side. A hydraulic suspension can be installed both in front and behind.
The presence of a power selection shaft and two independent hydraulic suspensions allow you to aggregate a tractor with any agricultural and communal tools — for example, estimate brushes, bulldozer knives, and hydraulic loaders with segment-plot braids.
The classic layout, a high road clearance, and the ability to block differential allow these tractors to perform a wide range of work. They can be used both in agriculture and for utilities. In addition, they have a minimum turn radius, allowing you to use this tractor in small-circuit fields or for collaborative work in the yards of municipalities.
The designers pay attention to the ergonomics of the workplace and the safety of using this technique. All tractors have seats with a floating independent suspension, belts and safety arches. In addition, they are all equipped with power steering.

Shibaura SX21
Shibaura SX21 is a multifunctional mini-tractor with a diesel four-stroke engine with a capacity of 21 horsepower. The weight of the tractor is 694 kilograms.
The drive is complete, constant, hydrostatic transmission. Covering the wheels on the rear axle is provided. The clutch is dry, single-disc. The wheels have axial size differentiation. The wheel tread is aggressive for work outside the roads and on the field. The width of the rear track is 87 cm, and the front is 94. The width of both ruts can be adjusted.
The mini-vector has two power selection shafts - rear (540 rpm) and medium (2185 rpm). The rear trailer has a classic three-point layout, equipped with a hydraulic lift with a force of 318 kg. The hydraulic cylinder provides an additional exit for connecting the front hydraulic suspension.
The tractor can aggregate with all types of agricultural and communal mounted guns and a trailer with a carrying capacity of up to one and a half tons.
Ploughing on medium loams, the tractor consumes up to 3.5 litres of diesel fuel per hour.
